Callen was put on nasal cannula yesterday and I was finally able to hold him! It didn't last long...his oxygen started to drop so he had to be put back on the warmer. It was an amazing few minutes! I'm convinced he is going to be my little snuggle bug! He seems to be the laid back baby of the bunch. This morning they had to put him back on CPAP. He was requiring the max amount of oxygen on cannula so they thought it was best to put him back on CPAP. Hopefully he will be able to go back to cannula soon! He weighed 2 lb. 12 oz today and they upped his feedings, so he should really start putting on weight now!
Lyla Grace is doing great on CPAP-I'm so proud of her! Her nurse told me that the Dr. may try and start weaning her off of CPAP at the beginning of next week. It would be amazing if she were able to go to cannula soon. She is continuing to gain weight slowly. She weighed 1 lb. 9 oz today. They upped her caffeine so she should have fewer oxygen/heart rate drops.
Sutter weighed 3 lb. 4 oz today! He was also moved to an isolette last night. It is enclosed so that he doesn't have to to listen to all of the loud noises. The nurses say the babies tend to grow better when they are in an isolette. Callen and Lyla Grace should be able to move to an isolette once they are on nasal cannula.

Allison and Paul, your babies are beautiful! We are praying for you all every day. And take care of Yourself, Allison!! God is control and God is good.
