DRUM ROLL PLEASE........

LG was put on nasal cannula today!!! That means that all three babies are on cannula now. She may have to go back to CPAP if her body wears out, but so far so good. She had to have a blood transfusion today due to low red blood count. All three babies have had several transfusions each which I have been told is normal for preemies. LG keeps having apnea episodes so they are hoping the extra caffeine and "go juice" aka (blood transfusion) will help her have fewer episodes. She weighed 1 lb. 10 oz. today. She has been doing really well with her feedings so they upped her intake today. Below are pictures of her sweet little face. Isn't she adorable? She is such a miracle!

Sutter is still on antibiotics for his staph infection, but it's looking much better! He has also been having apnea episodes where he "forgets" to breathe so they upped his caffeine level. He weighed 3 lb. 6 oz. today.

Callen had a good day today. I was able to hold him for 30 minutes and he seemed to enjoy it...he slept the whole time! I just love kissing his forehead and talking to him! Below is a picture of him..you may notice his nose is raw from the CPAP, but it's getting much better! He is almost up to full feedings now! He weighed 2 lb. 13 oz today. He is requiring a good bit more oxygen on his cannula than his siblings.
Thanks for all of the prayers! We have seen much improvement in the last week for all three babies. Our prayer is that God will grow the babies stronger and bigger each day so that they can come home SOON.
