Life in the fast lane

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I posted but life has been crazy! I went back to work full time in August and between working 8 hrs a day and being a mom of three I haven't had much "free" time. :) We also bought a house and moved at the end of July. We had to find something bigger and the perfect house came up for sale. We love our new house and are enjoying making lots of memories in it! The babies are doing well overall. LG is 8 1/s lbs, Sutter is almost 15 lbs (yes he is a butterball), and Callen is almost 12 lbs! LG has been slow to gain weight but she is progressing. We spent a week at Children's Hopital having every kind of test run on her to make sure there wasn't a serious problem. All tests came back normal-thank the Lord! I just think she's going to be small. The Dr. did put her on some supplemental oxygen which seemed to help her gain a little faster...he thought she was having to work hard to breathe and eat at the same time. We've tried to keep the oxygen on her at home but she HATES it! It has definitely been a struggle. She goes back to the Dr. next week. LG is also working with a physical therapist and occupational therapist. She is behind the boys developmentally but is catching up quickly!

It is so wonderful being a mom! I thank God everyday for my three beautiful miracles! The babies are smiling and cooing now and it is the most adorable thing. I love going into the nursery every morning before work and waking them up to eat. They are so happy to see me and it melts my heart. All three babies are sleeping through the night now which is a huge blessing! Feeding every three hours was soooooo tiring. The boys are taking 8 oz bottles now and starting on solids. It amazes me (and makes me kind of sad) how fast they are growing up. Paul and I are having to be very careful about taking the babies out in public. For the most part we keep them at home, especially now that RSV season has started. We have been told absolutely NO public crowds, church nursery, or young children allowed. The babies have been healthy so far so we definitely don't want to take any chances! If one of them were to catch RSV it could mean a hospital stay and we definitely don't want that!

Paul and I want to say a big THANK YOU to our church family! Although we haven't been regular attendees lately we are so appreciative for them! They have helped us move, cooked meals, watched babies, done laundry, and the list goes on and on. Our families are in Mississippi so having a church family that we can call on has been a huge blessing to us. We also want to say a big thank you to everyone that has prayed for our family. We would ask that you would please continue to pray that God would keep LG, S, and C healthy and allow them to progress both developmentally and physically. We are blessed beyond measure!
